Broadway Performer · Vocal De-Armoring Singing Teacher
Whether you’re a seasoned professional, an aspiring performer, or a human taking the first steps on your singing journey, I’m passionate about helping you find more freedom, curiosity, and joy in your voice.
My teaching combines the industry experience of my career as a Broadway performer with Vocal De-Armoring, an experimental approach to voice and creative practice developed by my longtime teacher and collaborator Marisa Michelson. I hold a Level One Vocal De-Armoring Diploma and spent years studying and performing with Marisa, both privately and as a member of her improvisatory vocal ensemble, Constellation Chor.

MY APPROACH
After years of traditional musical-theatre training and a career built largely on belting really super high (!), Vocal De-Armoring offered another possibility—one that transformed my relationship to singing and art-making altogether. It introduced me to a way of singing rooted in curiosity, embodiment, artistic expression, and creative flow, rather than judgment or an externally imposed idea of what a voice should sound like.
As a teacher, I bring those principles together with my love of storytelling, musicals, and, yes, belting really high. I help students explore their voices with greater freedom and find their own wild, creative, true expression—always in service of their individual artistic and personal goals.
